Richard Tuttle seems to be a fan of found objects, texture, and small details — that's what inspired this week's sculpture. Wanting to have various textures in my object I decided to play with the rips on the corrugated cardboard. On the untouched surfaces I inserted X shaped pieces of chicken wire. I felt like the small pieces of wire invited the viewer down close to the piece, toward the corner of the wall and gave small details unseen from a distance.
